The government guidance says to check your kit every six months. Almost nobody does, because nothing reminds them. This does. The emails land on the weekends the clocks change in late March and late October, and each one is a short, friendly version of the kit check routine, plus anything that has changed in the official guidance since the last one.
What you get
- Two emails a year. Spring and autumn, when the clocks change.
- The ten-minute routine, written out, with the seasonal extras: car kit in or out, flood warnings before autumn, water for summer.
- Anything new in the official guidance since the last check, summarised in a paragraph.
- Occasionally, a note when we add a major new guide or the printable workbook is ready. Rarely, and never a sales pitch.
What you do not get
- No weekly emails. No "deals". No doom.
- No sharing or selling of your address, ever.
- One-click unsubscribe at the bottom of every email.

Put two repeating reminders in your phone: the last Sunday in March and the last Sunday in October, "Check the kit, steadyon.uk/kit-check". That works just as well and involves nobody else.
Your address is used only to send these reminders. See the privacy note.
